Why am I getting a "0x0xxxxxxxxxxx Crypt Acquire......." error in Dazzle?
This may be caused by changing your Windows password or user name at log on. Other causes can be security updates to Windows.
Directions:
Click through the error messages by selecting OK. If you are asked to download the high encryption pack click "no."
Click the "Design" tab.
Postage > Options Click the "Endicia" tab.
You will receive the error again, click "ok" and "no" to stay in this pop up window in Dazzle.
Hold down the "alt" key on your keyboard and hit the letter "T" key once.
You will see a message "Do you wish to remove all of Dazzle's cryptographic information?."
Click 'yes'.
NOTE: You should see a message: "Your Dazzle cryptographic information has been successfully removed".
NOTE: If you get an error that the "the cryptographic information can NOT be removed" there is a more serious problem with your crypt engine in Windows. You will be unable to print in Dazzle until this Windows problem is fixed. Call support or e-mail and include the following information:
Version of Windows
Version of Internet Explorer
Cipher Strength for Internet Explorer
To find this information open Internet Explorer and click "Help" and "About."
Click "OK" if you received the message that the cryptographic information was removed successfully.
Close Dazzle.
Open Dazzle.
