The report builder creates dozens of useful reports that can be used to keep track of how your business is performing.

Reports

To Create a new report, click on Click Here to Create New Report in the center of the page.

  • Choose a starting date.
  • Choose an ending date.
  • Choose a report type. A cool feature is that when you select a report, the page quickly refreshes, and you'll see a list of the fields that will export. See Report Types below for more info.
  • If you're using multiple Warehouses, choose a warehouse or all warehouses.
  • Finally, choose an output format (XLS, CSV, TXT (tab delimited).

Create a New Report Schedule

Laris has a scheduled reporting feature that will save you time when generating numerous reports, on a regular basis.

To schedule a report, click on the
Image:Icon_order_add.gif Create a new report schedule button.

  • Schedule Type: You can choose to have a report generated, Daily, Weekly or Monthly.
    • Daily will be for the previous 24 hours, based on your start time.
    • Weekly will generate a report for the previous 7 days, based on the week day (which is when the report will be generated) and the start time.
    • Monthly will report for the month based on the day (numerical date) of the month, or last day and your start time. Last day will make it easy for monthly reporting because, obviously not every month has the same amount of days.
  • Now choose a Report Type.
  • If you are using multiple warehouses, choose which warehouse the report should be generated for.
  • Choose your Output Format.
  • If you want the report e-mailed to a specific e-mail address, check off the box next to E-Mail to and type in the e-mail address.
    • You can choose if you want the report inside the e-mail(which can be very cumbersome), or attached to the e-mail by checking the box next to Attach Report.
  • You also have the option to upload the report to an FTP server. Fill in the blanks for:
    • FTP Server: This is the address of the FTP server. i.e. ftp.sellcenter.net.
    • FTP User: This is the login / username for the FTP server.
    • FTP Pass: This is the Password for your FTP Server.

Managing Scheduled Reports

If you want to stop a scheduled report from generating or change the criteria, first click on the Manage Scheduled Reports link in the Reports Builder.

  • Here you will see a list of your scheduled reports.
  • If you want to delete a scheduled report, check the box next to the report, and from the drop down menu, choose Delete.
  • To edit a scheduled report, click on the Image:Edit.gif icon, in the Action column. You can edit the schedule criteria from the popup.

Suggestion: Try a bunch of reports. All of the information you need is here, and you can always use a VLookup in Excel to combine reports too.

Also, this module will say Kyozou all over the place. Remember, Laris is based on the Kyozou platform, but it's still Laris.
