Pickups Information

Automatic Scheduler

• Laris give you the ability to offer flexibility for shipping items to your customers.  Setting the Pickup schedule will allow you customers to select from your inputted time schedule to allow for local in store pickups.  This process is done automatically.  The customer will be able to schedule their own pickup time with out having to get in contact with you to confirm.  Customers can avoid hefty shipping charges if they live near by.
• The scheduler operates in 24 hour time.  When entering your available times ensure that you are using the following format: xx:xx. i.e.: If your pickup time is between 2:00PM – 6:30PM, the 24 hour time equivalent would be 14:00 – 18:30.

Cut off Time

The cut off time threshold lets you set the latest time by which your customers must make payments if they would like to pick up their items the following day. For example, if you set 14:00 for this value, your customers must make payment by 2pm before they can schedule a pickup for the very next day.

Please note that the cut off time is displayed in PST.

Days before product becomes unpaid

Set a value for the number of days a customer order can remain not paid. After this time, all unpaid orders will be marked ad "Unpaid" and notifications will be sent requesting payment.

Handling Fee Settings

• Laris also gives you the ability to charge handling fees on items that are locally picked up.

  Handling Charge Type

  • Fixed Rate
    • If you select this option for handling type, you will then need to set the fixed handling values.  Setting this option will allow you to charge a fixed handling charge for items that are locally picked up.
  • Dimensional
    • Selecting this option will allow you to charge handling fees based on the dimensional size and weight of you package. 
• Fixed Handling
  • Fixed Dollar Amount
    • Setting this option will allow you to input and activate a dollar value for sold items that are locally picked up.  This option will charge the customer the inputted fixed dollar amount for sold items. i.e.: If peter purchases 3 items from you and decides not to ship them but to pick them up locally, he can avoid shipping charges but will be charged a fixed dollar amount for each item as a handling fee.
  • Percentage of Selling Price
    • Setting this option will allow you to input and activate a percentage value for sold items that are locally picked up.  This option will charge the customer the inputted percentage of the item’s selling price. i.e.: If Peter purchases 3 items from you totaling $157.86, he will be charged a percentage of this total sale price as a handling fee when picking up the order locally.
  • Percentage of Shipping Price
    • Setting this option will allow you to input and activate a percentage value for sold items that are locally picked up.  This option will charge the customer the inputted percentage of the item’s total shipping price. i.e.: If Peter’s shipping price totals $67.54 for the order of 3 items, he will be charged a percentage of this total shipping cost as a handling fee when picking up the order locally.
