Payment was received, but now I'm trying to add a discount to the order and Add Discount button does not show up; or how do I adjust the total amount owed?

Discounts should normally be added to orders that have not yet been paid for. To add a discount to an order that has a payment transaction recorded under Order Payments, switch to edit mode (button at the bottom left in the order details screen). After the page reloads, click the Add Discount button at the bottom of the screen. Specify the amount of the discount (note a discount can be a positive or a negative value; negative discounts can be used to increase the total amount owed). To mark order as ready to ship you will need to ensure that you adjust the discount amount to level the Gross Amount Owed and the Gross Amount Collected values. The order will be automatically marked as Payment Cleared, and will become ready to Ship.
