Once you search and find the order in Manage Orders that you want to manage, click on the order number to the right side.

You'll see that the Order Details Screen has all of the necessary information about the buyer's order. The top half is straightforward information, but there are very advanced features as well.

Order Payments

The order payments section of Laris allows you to:

  • View existing payments.
  • Add a new payment to the order.
  • Refund Payments.

Best Practice: The Add Payment button doesn't look that impressive, however, if you are using PayPal Website Payments Pro you can use the Add Payment button to enter a live transaction and accept credit cards, in real time through Laris.

Otherwise, you can press the Add Button and add the specified information to add a payment to an order.

Order Shipments

You can process shipment in two ways, from the Process Shipments menu, or from within an order. These two processes differ in various ways. Here is how to process a shipment from within an order.

  • From in your order (which should have a 'Ready To Ship' Order Status) scroll down and press the Add Shipment button.
  • In the popup window, you can add a new shipment, or input a manual tracking number. Let's assume you are going to add a new shipment.
  • Check the box(es) for the items you want to add to a new shipment.
  • Press "Next Step"
  • You'll be redirected to a Process Shipments screen.
  • From this screen, you can see/change the customer's address, and much more.

See Process Shipments for more information about how to proceed.

Order Details

The order details section, at the bottom of the order shows you the product location, id, auction number, title, sale date, quantity, price and shipping price for each item. The green buttons at the bottom allow you to:

  • Print an order form.
  • Print a purchase order (dropshipping feature).
  • Print an invoice for the customer.
  • Enter the customer's checkout to help them with any questions or test out the checkout process.
  • Re-Email the checkout instructions E-Mail.

The button we (purposely) skipped is the Switch to Edit Mode button. When you are in edit mode, you open up a ton of few new features. You can:

  • Add Additional Products to the order.
  • Remove products from the order
  • Add discounts to an order for shipping or just for a great customer.
  • These are the button functions, but as you can see above, the Order Tracking section is editable too. You can put orders on hold, or change the order status.

So remember, if you want to change anything in an existing order, you first need to enter Edit Mode. You will probably want to head back to Manage Orders to see how to perform shipping in orders, by Adding a New Shipment and Processing the shipment.
