In Shipping Courier Settings when setting up my FedEx account, what is a "meter number" and why do I need to generate it?
When using FedEx Shipmanager, you may already have an assigned meter number for your FedEx account. If this is the case, you should supply the same meter number here. If you don't have a meter number yet and do not supply one here, one will be generated for you automatically. You should contact FedEx if you're unsure of whether you have a meter number already or if you have forgotten or misplaced it. Because Laris full integrates you FedEx shipping account and does no longer require you to use 3rd party shipping software, Laris requires you to have a meter number so that you can receive and out put shipping services and rates to your buyers and will allow you to output correct FedEx postage.
