How do I send one item that normally requires two packages, and thus two tracking numbers?

For most products, one package and one tracking number is normally required to ship the package. Occasionally, for some reason or another, a second package is required to ship the item out completely. Follow these steps to reflect this in your order.

1. You will need to create a new "dummy" product for this item. Just add and inventory item as you normally would. Just make sure you note in the title in some way or another that this is an add on and not a product itself. If you know that this item consistently requires this "dummy" product, just select infinite quantity before you fully add the product into your inventory. After this is in your inventory, you can then add the product to your shipment.

2. Go into the shipment screen for this order and at the bottom, click on the Add Package button.

3. Before adding the product to the new package, you will need to enter the weight and dimensions of this package. After you have done so, click on Add Products underneath your newly created package.

4. A new window will open up showing your inventory. Select your newly created "dummy" product.

5. Review your entire shipment and make sure everything is correct. You are now able to print out two tracking numbers for one product. Just print out your shipping labels as you would normally.
